Killer breakfast burrito with carnitas Took everything in me not to order an 11:30am Cubano as well based on the way it looked. Place was clean, staff were friendly, great patio, big win!

We've gone there twice. The first time I won a gift card for $150 and it was quite easy to spend that. The second time we came back because we just really liked it the first time. They have a seasonal menu, which apparently changes every so often typically has more unique menu items that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Definitely options for adventurous eaters. The food tends to be well seasoned, with portion sizes. I've enjoyed nearly everything I've had there so far. But our favorite thing, is going and sitting at the bar. Because that creates another experience altogether. They bring you out a little pre-food amuse bouche as a little gift, and it's always a fun party in the mouth. I also really love their cocktails. Their service is also very, very good, we always feel well taken care of.

Two parts. Market and fancy restaurant. Both are excellent. Look it's a $15 breakfast burrito (or sandwich) but worth it? Heck yeah it's worth it. Fresh, great quality. The fancy dinner restaurant? Unbelievably delicious. A true favorite.

Came here for my husband's birthday and we loved everything. The best surprise was seeing a custom menu with a birthday message based on the information I put when I made the reservation! Definitely was a nice touch. We could not decide what to order and definitely asked for some suggestions. The main thing everyone suggested we try were the pig ears. We were feeling adventurous so we ordered them and they were so good! Would definitely recommend. For dinner I ordered the lamb, my husband ordered the Delmonico steak, and we shared a side of broccoli. Everything was excellent and we had a great time sitting at the chef's counter watching all the action.

We arrived around noon on Thursday. Almost every seat was filled inside. Tried the lunch special sandwich and it was so good. Tasted very fresh and balanced. We also had the Italian sandwich and grain bowl with sweet potato falafel. The Italian sandwich was apparently pretty good not mind blowing. The grain bowl was good as well. The sweet potato falafel was actually better than I imagined it and I think adding sweet potato makes it less dry compared to a normal falafel. Super busy but service went by quickly. Would definitely go back and try dinner.

I stopped in for a quick breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. I had probably the best breakfast burrito i've ever had. On the way out I also got a DELICIOUS oatmeal cream pie and a homemade strawberry lemonade popsicle. The service was also very friendly. I'll definitely be back next time i'm in town.

Best breakfast burrito I've ever had. No lie. Friendly staff and awesome ambiance. The sauce that comes with it is super spicy but so so good.

No idea how I haven't reviewed Blackbelly yet. 100% one of my favorite spots in Boulder: - The butcher & market: IDK where else I can buy beef bacon, and Blackbelly always has my back. Their beef bacon is so so so good. I love to use the fat from cooking it to cook other things like eggs or other meats. It's a must! Their beef jerky has also recently been a staple at home--very flavorful. - A great lunch: Whether it's a simple grilled cheese and tomato soup, or a burger, their lunch is great. I love sitting on their patio and enjoying a tasty lunch there - The best dinner: I love going here for date nights and while friends are visiting. Their beef cuts and their lamb are so so good. I love their burrata, broccoli, and fries. But I think the service is what really sets them apart. The entire staff is so friendly and excited for you to be there. Sit at the Chefs counter if you can! Chef Gage --you are doing some amazing things!

Just an update of a real fave. We tried the Sunday BBQ yesterday, live music on the patio with some BBQ specials as well as the regular lunch menu. Not to be missed in good weather this summer. It was a little windier than most would have liked, out on the patio but it was full considering and some people chose to eat inside, which is always comfortable. We tried both of the new offerings, the pulled pork sandwich which came with some slaw and pickles on a full roll of tender pork. The Brisket plate had 3 large slices of tender, house smoked brisket. Sides of red cabbage slaw, a Mac Salad and a tasty cornbread and some pickle slices. All tasty but frankly I prefer Mac and cheese with BBQ. But maybe not everyone does. There were musicians on the patio with an opening core of bluegrass trio of bass, banjo and guitar. They all sang some classics which we enjoyed. Other musicians were allowed to join as self assessed competent, but this was a bit disconcerting. They ended up in a circle facing each other so most of the add ins had their backs to the audience blocking our view and sounds of the more professional core. One of joiners sort of hijacked the group over to a Grateful Dead song list which is ok but seemed to annoy the core players. And there were little kids in attendance. But it's Boulder so to be expected. . We'll definitely be back again for this special menu and entertainment. Planned to continue through the summer.

BEST BREAKFAST BURRITO Attention folks, the rumors are true. Blackbelly Market has the best breakfast burrito from 7am - 11am! If you are near, 100% go. You are not going to find a better one, promise. So what is so good about it? Let's see... creamy fluffy cheddar-y eggs... check... melt worthy yet crunchy tatter tots... check... delicious green chili with a hint of spice... check... beautifully savory meat of the day... check... all wrapped in a soft pillow-y tortilla... check! Bonus: They give you a spicy red smooth salsa to enjoy your burrito with. It's the perfect sauce pairing! Bonus x2: They change the meat of the day so it's a fun surprise to see what you'll get the day you go. Carnitas was our luck! It complimented the fillings to a T. I imagine any meat they select would, though. I mean that's their thing! They are a butcher on top of dishing out BBBs (best breakfast burritos) every morning. :D Bonus x3: They start serving sandwiches at 11am. If you time it right, take someone you love and share a breakfast burrito at 10:45am then order a sandwich at 11:00am. Maybe a Reuben? Or Bahn Mi? Or Burger? I mean why not get the best of both worlds! Trust me, it's a great idea! As you can see, we took advantage of Bonus x3. We tried the Reuben. The pastrami was peppery, the slaw was tart n' acidotic, while the Russian dressing and Swiss cheese balanced everything out. Very well done! In all, we'll 100% be back for another BBB and sandwich! Next on my list, the Bahn Mi.
